Credit Card Verification

When adding a credit card, a verification process by the Retreaver team is required before the card can be used for billing.

Fixing “You are not authorized to access this page” when adding a payment method

If you see an authorization error when trying to add a credit card in Retreaver, your account likely has not yet been approved for credit card submission. Once your account is reviewed, you’ll be able to add a card and upload any required verification documents.

Why credit card verification is needed

Since Retreaver manages live phone calls we've adopted a security policy to manually review new accounts to avoid spam and abuse.

New or recently created accounts may not have payment submission access enabled by default. In that case, clicking Manage Credit Cards may redirect you and show:

You are not authorized to access this page.

This is usually not a browser issue or a problem with your user permissions.

How to resolve it

1. Contact Retreaver Support

Ask support to review your account and enable credit card submission approval.

Once enabled, you should be able to access:

2. Add your card

After your account is approved for submission:

Some accounts will be asked to provide documentation before the card can be used.

This may include:

  • Credit card authorization form
  • Front and back of the card, or a screenshot for a virtual card
  • Government-issued photo ID

Can I use a virtual card?

Yes, virtual cards may be accepted. If prompted for card verification, upload:

  • A screenshot of the virtual card details
  • Your government-issued photo ID
  • Any required authorization form

After your card is approved

Once the card is verified, you can:

  • Make a one-time payment
  • Add funds to your balance
  • Enable auto recharge in the Payments section

To enable auto recharge:

  • Go to Payments
  • Click Change Settings
  • Configure your recharge amount and threshold

If your payment is declined

If a card is added successfully but payment still fails:

  • Try a different card
  • Avoid debit cards that may require PIN-based authorization
  • Contact support if the issue continues

Important note for new accounts

In some cases, Retreaver may not be onboarding new accounts. If that applies to your account, support will let you know. If you work with an existing Retreaver user, you may still be able to access call data through Publisher Portal access, which must be granted by that user.
